Hello

Following the wonderful help from the list in locating my DYER family in 1891 at 49 Lugley Street, Newport, I have uncovered another mystery.

Lydia MAUREAN is grand daughter age 11 to William Alfred DYER.

A birth on Freebmd in December 1879 lists a Lydia Ernestine MAUREAN. She doesn't appear to be listed on the IOW bmd site. I can't find any other record on Freebmd or the IGI for a MAUREAN.

Does anyone have a MAUREAN in their tree? Or does anyone have any ideas?

I will send for the birth certificate, but I wondered if anyone had any interest in this name.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
