Subject: CHIVERTON - James father of George, Norton area.

Dear List People,
I have George Chiverton aged about 26 in 1858, of Norton, son of
James, labourer. I don't seem able to connect this James with our many
other Chivertons.
I found this:
James Chiverton and Jenny Downer, were married
on 20.9.1800 at Whitwell IOW. James was baptised on 25.5.1760. ...
They had a son Isaac - did they also have a George? The dates would fit,
but Whitwell is out of the Norton/Freshwater area somewhat.

I also have a James, born about 1891, of Freshwater, married to Elizabeth.
I have one son for them - William, baptised 1814. He'd have been 18 years
older than our George, so a bit unlikely they were brothers.
According to Familysearch, James married Lucy PEARCE in 1821 - presumably
after Elizabeth died. Their son George would be too old for ours.

Is there anyone out there who can link these people?
