Thank you Janet. The BMD Index said "in progress" so I thought that this
meant it wasn't ready to use so I didn't even look there.

This index started in the 1800's and I am interested in the 1500's and
1600's.

Main surname I am interested in are Baker, Hulse, Thurber. They settled on
Long Island, New York in the very early 1600's.
