Hello Jim, Joan and Debbie,
Thanks for your help in this lookup. Joan sent the 1891 transcription and
Debbie sent the image (it arrived fine - thanks). And Jim did some sleuthing
in various places but found Henry in London on 1901 census. The end result
is this:
1. After learning of the Scotland birthplace, I found Henry in London on
1881 census living with wife Sarah and son Henry C. WESTON.
2. By 1891 census, Henry (shown as single) was boarding at 3 New Street,
Newport.
3. In 1893, Henry married Jessy URRY in Newport.
4. By 1901 census, Henry was boarding in Kensington, London (shown as
widower) when wife Jessy (shown as married) was still alive in Newport and
enumerated with her sisters.
5. Jessy WESTON is shown as Jessy URRY (maiden name) as informant on her
sister Emma's death certificate in 1902. So as Jim said, "Divorce Victorian
Style".
Now I'll have to find a death for Sarah WESTON (or was Henry a bigamist when
he married Jessy URRY?) and what happened to his son Henry C.?
Isn't this genealogy thing fun :-)
Thanks again for all the help. Regards, Janet

Hi Janet
I THINK I've found him on the 1891. I'll send you the page directly from
Ancestry. This one has his occupation as Saddler.
Let me know if you don't receive it.
Best wishes, Debbie
