Thanks for responding to my IOW posting.

Yes, Henry and Kate URRY in Hamilton, Ontario were my gr.grandparents and their daughter Maude was my grandmother. I had that Census information but can find no trace of Henry after that.

Re: WHITTINGTON, I don't even have a forename. He was listed as the father of Mary FALLICK who was chr. 6 Mar 1757 at Godshill, IOW , "natural daughter of Ann PHALLICK/FALLICK by WHITTINGTON". Natural apparently meant out of wedlock.

Re: HOBBS, I have Mary married 14 Dec 1756 at Godshill, IOW to James FALLICK who was chr. 27 Apr 1722 at Godshill. No other info on Mary.

Hi Janet......the 1881 English and Canadian census is on line as is the 1880 American census. They can be searched at www.familysearch.org I took a look in all of them for your Henry Urry born 1838 +/- five years. There was one in Canada and one on the Isle of Wight....none in the U.S.:
