Hi! I am descendant of Thomas Read born 1833 who lived at Cross Street
I.O.W. married Mary Norris in 1855, at St, John's Carisbrooke (Banns). Mary
was born in 1834. They'r children James, John, Sara Ann, Henry, William
Jacob and David. William Jacob Read born in 1873 died maybe 1927. He married
Rosina Ellen Winslow in Cowes 1895. Rosina was born 07/03/1874 and died in
Cowes 08/02/1950. Their home was at Tintern Cottage, Back Road 182, Cowes.
Their children are: William Thomas; Morris Harry; Leslie Nicholas (married
to Lilian Riddet); Rita Marie (married to Ernest Arthur Watson 1918 and to
Malcom Longbottom); Mabel Rita (married to William H. Maxwell 1926); Horatio
David (married Marion E. Morris 1938); Ivan Alfred (married to Beatrice) ;
Mathew Frederic (married to Dora); Norman Samuel; and Winified Glayds, the
youngest, my mother, who was born 1917 in I.O.W. married to David Thomas
1937 and to my father, Zygmunt Golab. Me search is for living cousins they
could be in Canada, South Africa, Australia, U.K. and. who knows. Any clue,
