IMPROVEMENTS
In the Gas, Electric and Heating Co to Cost $250,000.
Supt. C.A. Gillham has returned from Indianapolis where he was in conference with President W.J. Schott, of the Peoples Gas, Electric and Heating Co., in regard to extensive improvements to the Bloomington plant.
It has been decided to commence at once the rebuilding of the gas plant, and the reva(missing letters) ng of all the gas street mains as soon as the weather will permit. In order that the new works may be in full operation prior to another fall and winter seasons business.
It has not been fully decided whether this work can be accomplished in time to make the necessary expensive improvements as now planned for electric and heating departments of the company. In any event there will be installed in the heating plant before another season, additional pumps of the most improved types that the company may insure their patrons perfect heating service for next year.
It is intended to expand on the able work nearly $250,000, making this one of the most complete plants in the state.
