The 1856 Atlas of Monroe County Indiana shows schoolhouse #17 in the SW
quarter of the SW quarter of section 26, Township 10 North, Range 1 West.
The Illustrated Historical Atlas of the State of Indiana, Monroe County also
shows a schoolhouse at that location.
The 1939 WPA inventory of veterans graves has listed in Washington Township,
section 26 a KENRICH Cemetery. The map for that cemetery on page 162,
indicates that it is 100 yards East of (old) State Road 37 and 250 yards North of
the East-West road (Anderson Road).
It does not indicate that any veterans are buried there.The size of the
cemetery is shown as being two lots wide by two rows wide.
I do not know of anyone who has looked for that cemetery.
