Bloomington (Monroe County, Indiana) Republican Progress, Jul 3, 1889, no page
noted, clipping file, Monroe County Historical Society. Typed. Notation at
the end of the clipping was provided by a person unknown.

A brakeman on the railroad was critically injured in an accient close to
Ellettsville and died shortly afterward. Age 34. Single. Left a widowed
mother and two sisters whom he supported. His home was in Crawfordsville.
Remains were removed to Crawfordsville for burial.

age 34, d. June 27, 1889, in Bloomington, recorded in book H-12, p. 33 at the
Monroe County Health Department.
