Some days ago an item appeared in the Telephone stating that the railroad company had settled with Andrew Wycoff for damages sustained in passing through his farm. This was a mistake. As Mr. Wycoff refused to accept the amount awarded by the appraisers and has filed exceptions to the award, the case will now stand for trial on the exceptions the same as other damage cases are tried.
