Subject: One more item about advice sought

My previous message went out when I thought I was putting it in as a "draft". I wanted to confirm where William Louis Willard went into the army in 1861. He apparently joined in Floyd County. I find no Willard family in Floyd County in 1860. Another obituary states he came to Monroe County in 1866, which would also indicate he lived elsewhere beforehand. That "beforehand" is my big problem and why I can't seem to trace his family.
