COUNTRY SOCIETY EVENT
There is not often anywhere a more beautiful or impressive home wedding than that last night at the country residence of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Johnston, west of the city, when their accomplished daughter Miss Birdie and Mr. Leonard M. Hanna answered "I will" to the solemn vows of matrimony.
The house was profusely decorated...At 8 o'clock, with Miss Flossie Falkner playing Mendelssohn's wedding march, Miss Anna Farmer entered the isle in the drawing room followed by the Rev. James Hickson and by the bride and bridegroom...
(Birdie) is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Johnston, a splendid musician, an artist at needle work and loved and admired by a host of friends. Mr. Hanna is a son of B. M. Hanna and an enterprising young barber of the Hughes tonsorial parlors. Both are graduates of Bloomington High School.
Mr. and Mrs. Hanna will be at home to their friends after May 1st at 715 West Kirkwood Avenue, Bloomington...
