Mrs. Elizabeth Browning, widow of Hon. Nathaniel Browning, formerly of Bloomington, died at Chattanooga, Tenn., on the 23rd (Dec 1894). She was the mother of Mrs. J. W. Crain of Bloomington and Columbus and Ira Browning and was well known to the majority of our citizens. Mrs. Browning was in her 88th year.
