I'll run over to Spencer as soon as the holidays are over. And see what I can find. Will also try Greene Co., Indiana.
That article was all I had to go on and in it..it said Madison, Sr. went from Owen Co. to Monroe Co. and was widely known in both areas as a stock breeder and dealer. That was all the hint I had....and the fact dau. Lucinda met both
her husbands in Monroe Co., as did the other children, except Madison Clay S., and lived there the rest of their lives.
There was a daughter Elizabeth Caroline who m: Isaac W. Noel. I have run alot of searches on the spouses, but have not finished them..at this time.
I really appreciate all the trouble you have gone to....I'll keep searching and let you know if I find anything.
