Death Claims Two Aged Citizens of Bloomington

Heart Disease Ends Life of Mrs. Sheaffer



Mrs. Amanda Sheaffer, 82, died of complications of heart trouble at 1:30 oclock this morning in the home of her adopted daughter, Mrs. Fred Clark, Barclay Gardens. Mrs. Sheaffer had been seriously ill for several weeks. Funeral services are planned for 2 oclock tomorrow afternoon at the Clark residence. The Rev. W.W. Denbo of the Free M.E. church will officiate and burial will be held at Valhalla cemetery.



Besides the adopted daughter, Mrs. Sheaffer leaves the husband, John Sheaffer; one brother, Alfred Kincaid of Lebanon; and one sister, Martha Jane Statton of Whitestown.

Mrs. Davis Succumbs to Complications



Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Davis, 81, a resident of Bloomington for several years and who for the past five years had made her home at Hotel Lincoln, died at 4:30 oclock Tuesday afternoon of complications, due to her age, at the hotel. Mrs. Davis leaves one daughter, Mrs. Georgia L. Shears, who until last February managed a rooming house at 312 north Washington street; one granddaughter, Mrs. Luther Deck of Indianapolis; and two brothers, George French of near Merom, and Harrison French, of Meron.



Funeral services will be held at 3 oclock tomorrow afternoon in the home of brother, George French, Merom. Burial will take place in the French family cemetery near Merom.
