Used Radio To Locate Son;

Mother Dead

When Mrs. Mary Douthitt, south Madison street, died Monday an effort was made to locate two sons, Earl and Robert, by means of the radio. T.J. Louden, a friend of the family, asked station WFBM of Indianapolis to broadcast an inquiry as to their whereablouts. Earl was in Detroit and was told of the message by a friend who chanced to be listening in.

He answered the call and came for the funeral which was held this morning in St. Charles church, east Third street. The other son, Robert, who had gone to Toledo to hunt employment, was not found.

Father Paul Deery conducted the services this morning. Interment was made in the Clear Creek cemetery. Pall bearers were Charles Steinburg, T.J. Louden, Willis Neal, Elmer Hawkins, Geo. Steffey, and Scott Davis.
