Bloomington (IN) Republican Progress, May 2, 1899, p. 1.

A portion of the 160th Indiana regiment that has been doing duty at Havana and was recently mustered out, passed through this city Thursday in a special train over the Monon. In the regiment was a large number of Lafayette boys, the former home of W. A. Brissenden of this citify. Mr. and Mrs. Brissenden prepared an excellent lunch for the company consisting of sandwiches and good coffee, and it was served to them at the depot and was greatly enjoyed by the soldier boys.
