Death Mrs. Elizabeth Hensley



Mrs. Elizabeth Butcher Hensley, aged 73, died Tuesday evening at 7:30 oclock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Gilmore, four miles east of town, as the result of erysipelas. Mrs. Hensley has always resided in this county and was born south of town September 13th, 1837. She was a life long member of the Baptist church. She was the widow of Jefferson Hensley deceased and leaves eight children to mourn her death: Mrs. Lucinda Eddy, Mrs. Cyrepta Gross, Mrs. Ella Shields, Mrs. John Gilmore, Soloman Hensley and J.D. Hensley, all living south east of town, James Hensley, of Tipton county and George Hensley, of Smithville.



Funeral Thursday afternoon at one oclock at Mt. Gilead in charge of Rev. T.R. White.
