John Weaver died at the residence of his son, William Weaver, about six miles north of the city Thursday night. He was 76 years of age, well known and respected and a member of the College Avenue M E Church. The funeral will occur this morning from that church at ten oclock, the

services being in charge of Rev. D.D. Doddridge.
