Happy June Wedding



At 10:15 this morning at the parsonage of the Kirkwood Avenue Christian Church occurred the wedding of Kahn B. Thrasher, of Chicago, to Miss Ruth Margaret Thornton, of this city. The Rev. W.H. Smith preformed the ceremony. The couple left on the 11:26 Monon train for Chicago where they will make their home.



The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Thornton, west Sixth street. She formerly attended St. Marys of the Woods School at Terre Haute and is a member of the Delta Theta Tau sorority. The groom is a graduate of the Bloomington High School and Engineering Department of Purdue University. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Thrasher, west of Clear Creek. At the present he is employed as a civil engineer on the Illinois Central with headquarters in Chicago.
