Thomas Hovis died yesterday morning after a long sickness. Mr. Hovis had
been employed at Worley's livery barn for a long time and has been sick for
several months. The trouble grew out of an attack of the gripp, and though
he has been much better at times yet he has never entirely recovered. He
was up town a few days ago and death at the time was quite unexpected.
