Mrs. Emslo Flowler died Sunday morning at 3 o'clock at the residence of E.
K. Millen, North College Avenue. Her death was the result of old age and
stomach trouble and occurred after an illness of several weeks. She was
about 76 years old and a lady of excellent character. She was always
benevolent and conscientious and was held in high esteem by all her
acquaintances. Her maiden name was Emslo Cooper. The funeral occurred
yesterday afternoon from the late residence, the services being in charge
of Rev. T. J. Clark, of the Kirkwood Avenue Christian Church.
