Subject: [INMONROE] Marriage - Lane and Paul
Date: Wed, 08 Jan 2003 03:25:03 -0500

Bloomington Weekly Telephone, August 16, 1892, p. 4

James Lane and Miss Myrtle Paul were united in marriage Sunday afternoon by ‘Squire Fount. Jones, of Van Buren township. The marriage was quite romantic, the Squire performed the ceremony while the couple were seated in a buggy in the road, a short distance from the home of Mr. Jones. After the ceremony Mr. Lane and his bride drove to the city. It is their intention to make their home in Van Buren township, where Mr. Lane has an interest in a farm. The Telephone extends congratulations and wishes them a long and happy life.
