Subject: [INMONROE] William Carmichael to Retire
Date: Thu, 01 Aug 2002 10:26:52 -0500

Bloomington (IN) Telephone, Jan 27, 1899, p. 1.

William Carmichal, the groceryman doing business on south Walnut Street,
has decided to retire to private life and will dispose of his stock of
goods at once. He contemplates a trip to California with his little
daughter, Cecil (sic), and after viewing the sights and grandeur of the
golden gate state will return to Harrodsburg where he will make his future
home. Mr. Carmichael has been in business in Bloomington about nine years,
coming from Harrodsburg to this city. He is also interested in the grocery
business in that little town in company with his brother.
