Howe, Joshua Owen? (sic) 1784-1870, merchant, Bloomington, Ind. Account
book. 224 pp.

Howe appointed as Trustee of Indiana University in 1838 (Wylie, page
24). First five pages used as a scrapbook. Many pages
mutilated. Contains some entries for payment of debts in produce. Page 84
bears names of other Howe children in addition to "Rena" on first page.
