SOME MORE CLAUDE STEELE VICTIMS

The First National Bank has filed suit to foreclose mortgages for about
$3,500 on property on South Walnut Street against Claude Steele by whom
unsuspecting creditors lost some $14,000 when he went bankrupt a few weeks
ago as proprietor of the book store and book nook. Fortunately for the
bank, but quite as unfortunate for the endorsers, the bank had good
personal security so it can have no loss.
