Charles Moore and wife of Ellettsville were here the past week visiting
their daughter, Mrs. Stoner, of Clinton Township. Mr. Moore brought a
wagon load of apples here 53 years ago. James Gillespie says that he has a
distinct recollection of the event; also the apples, which were good. At
the time, James was just high enough to reach up through a hole in the
hindgate of the wagon, which he did without having received an introduction
to Mr. Moore. Greencastle BANNER.
