Bloomington (IN) Weekly Courier, Jan 14, 1910, p. 2.

Tuesday night a German wanderer appeared at Huron, Lawrence County, asking
for food and shelter. He was fed and allowed to sleep on the bare floor of
the lockup without cover, and yesterday morning it was found that his feet
were frozen. Both will have to be amputated. He gives his nameas Herman
Sanders.
