AGED COUNTY WOMAN DIES
Maggie E. Young Succumbs After Illness of 10 Weeks
Mrs. Maggie E. Young, age 86, succumbed at 11:50 AM today at athe home of
her son, Ora. H. Young, Rural Route Two, after an illness of 10 weeks with
complications of old age. She had been at the home of her daughter, Mrs.
Iva Beaman, since the death of her husband about 22 years ago but was taken
to her son's home when her condition became critical.
Besides her son, she leaves two daughters, Mrs. Beaman of Unionville and
Mrs. Essie Weddle of Martinsville; and one brother, William Bennington of
Thorntown, Indiana.
She was a memer of the Church of Christ at Unionville. The body will lie
in state at the Weir Funeral Home until the hour of the services, to be
held there at 2 PM Monday. Elder A. W. Harvey will be in charge of the
services.
A male quartet composed of Morton Brock, Leonard Brock, Leo Brock and Lon
McClung will sing special numbers. Pallbearers will be the grandsons and
great-grandsons, Omer Young, Ora Young, Vernie Young, Richard Young, Travis
Weddle, Bascon Weddle and Glenn Young.
The granddaughters, Flora Young, Chloral (sic) Young and Alice Young will
be flower bearers. Interment will be in the Young Cemetery near Unionville.
