27-YEAR OLD MOTHER DIES
Complications are Fatal to Mrs. Frances Chandler

Mrs. Frances M. Chandler, 27-year-old mother of a 7-year-old girl and a two
weeks old infant, succumbed to complications at 4:40 PM Friday at her home
on Rural Route One. She had been ill for two months following an attack of
influuenza.

Besides her husband, Claude Chander, she leaves the girl, Madonna June, age
7, and the infant daughter, Sharon Kay, age 2 weeks, her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. J. E. Stewart, Rural Route One; two sisters, Leona and Iva Stewart;
and three brothers, Ora, Herbert and Eugene Stewart, all of this county.

The body was taken today from the Day Mortuary to the residence to lie in
state there until the hour of the services.

The funeral rites will be held at 2 PM Sunday from the Eleventh Street
Pentecostal Church of which she was a member. The Rev. Orville Frame,
pastor of the church, will officiate. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Wallace Owings, Robert Pate, James Engledow, Herbert
Hogate, Bobbie Caviness, and Harley Hogate. Flower bearers will be Ruby
Nunn, Lucille Hogate, Leona Nash, Carment Hogate, Lydia Camden and Malissa
Parrish.
