Randi,

Was there anymore info on these two Stangers. Jessie is my G-Grandmother.
And Getty is her older sister. Both of their parents died at a fairly young
age. And they where raised by Clint Stanger.

This one-page document as summarized below was noted on page 27 of
Guardianship Records 1899-1912, Item No. 4, Microfilm Roll #62, Monroe
County (IN) Historical Society.

PETER W. COWDEN was appointed guardian of GETTY E. STANGER and JESSIE R.
STANGER in Monroe County Court on November 28, 1900. His bond was posted
by the U. S. Fidelity & Guaranty Company of Baltimore, Maryland, in the
amount of $400.00.

The final report on Gettie (sic) was made in 1908 which suggests that he
was an adult; Jesse (sic) was continued. The final report for Jessie/Jesse
was made in 1915 which suggests that he became an adult that year.
