Hello everyone,
I have followed this thread with great interest and have just now been able
to respond.
OK here goes. I feel if the person is deceased, then I would put the info in
my records. I would not share it with the public unless I knew that no one
from the immediate family would object. I also agree with the person/s who
said it may be necessary for medical reasons and I would release that info to
the individual who needed it, if I had it.
After doing my own genealogy for over 15 years, I have come to find that
these type secrets pop up in many families and things we have believed to be
only happening in the present, happened in the past, and also sometimes way
more often than they do now.
