Our readers will learn with regret that Henry Rott had the misfortune on
the 22d ult., to lose by fire at Gunnison, Colorado, his restaurant
building with all its contents. The Gunnison Daily News says that Mr. Rott
estimates his loss at $4,000. He had been offered $2,500 for the building
and lot. There was but $250 of insurance on the restaurant. His bakery
and candy factory are on another street, so that he is not entirely out of
business, and is not the kind of man to be disheartened.
