CORN FESTIVAL ON

The Ellettsville carnival is on in full swing now and everyone is having a
big time. The streets were crowded yesterday and the shows were well
patronized. Among the free attractions are the high dive and balloon
ascension, which are given daily. The high diver received a very painful
injury Tuesday while doing his stunt but is yet carryig out his contract.

Among those who went to Ellettsvile this morning to attend the big carnival
were: A. K. Storms and wife, Mrs. J. B. Ridge, Miss Laura Whisnand, Eli
Boruff, J. M. Cooper, John Gilmore and Mrs. W. W. Pauley.
