following obituary.

Bloomington Telephone
Bloomington, Indiana, August 25, 1959, p. 2

TEN POUNDS of tomatoes--give or take an ounce or two--are shown in these four
samples. Each weighs about 2-1/2 pounds. The pair on the left were grown by
Cleo Hawkins, Rt. 4, Wooden Road, who says they measure 19 and 17-1/2 inches
around, respectively. Those on the right are products of Cotton Hazel, 1104
S. Madison, retired operator of local hamburger shop and steak house. Cotton
says his are Brandywine tomatoes; Hawkins isn't sure what variety his are.
