Monroe County July 24, 1901
I, James M. Rice, do make this my last will hereby revoking any former will
by me made.
Item 1--I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, Emma W. Rice, Lot Number
Eighteen (18) in Allen's Addition to the City of Bloomington, Indiana, the
same being my homestead.
Item 2--I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, Emma W. Rice, all my
household and kitchen furniture of every description and kind, also my
driving horse and surrey and two sets of harness, and also my buggy.
Item 3--I also give to my wife, Emma W. Rice, one certificate of paid-up
stock in the Workingmen's Building Loan Fund and Savings Association of
Bloomington, Indiana, for the sum of six hundred dollars. And also four
shares of running stock in said the Workingmen's Building Loan Fund and
Savings Association.
Item 4--I do hereby nominate and appoint my beloved wife, Emma W. Rice,
executrix of this my last will and testament.
