I experienced an epiphany this morning and as a result, I'm posting this
query. My maternal great-grandparents emigrated from Latvia around 1907.
I've always wondered how in the world they wound up in little old
Bloomington, Indiana. While reading a local publication this morning, I ran
across their last name (attached to someone else, obviously!) and just for
kicks looked in the phone directory. Lo and behold! Now I'm wondering if
they were the only members of the family to settle here.

My question is: Have there been indexes created for the Monroe County 1900
and 1910 censuses or is my only option to sit down with the microfilms and
slowly go through them?
