A Bloomington young man who is suffering with pulmonary disease drinks six
ounces of fresh, warm blood each day as it is caught from the throat of a
beef at James Faris' slaughter house. This treatment has become quite
popular in the cities and is attended with beneficial results, particularly
when raw beef is eaten in connection with drinking of fresh blood.
