Bloomington (IN) Republican Progress, February 4, 1880, p. 3.

W. J. Allen and W. P. McNary bought at sheriff's sale recently the rooms
now occupied by George Atkinson and John P. Smith together with the two
valuable farms just northeast of town, all the property of Thomas
Mullikin. They also purchased from the First National Bank the $8,000
certificate given at a former sale and which covers the Mullikin Hall
corner together with a number of judgments against Mullikin.
