The index noted below was created for a database of the MONROE COUNTY,
INDIANA, GUARDIAN DOCKET AND FEE BOOK (January 1913-1930). The book contains
the following information that was abstracted by Randi Richardson from a
handwritten original on file at the Monroe County Court House. Each abstract
contains, as a general rule: record/page number, guardian appointed, ward,
date of ward's birth, name of ward's parent, and date letter was admitted to
the court requesting guardianship. There are approximately 300 records in the
book, each record number having both a left and right page. Persons appointed
guardians of an individual of unsound mind are also included in the book.

The index as noted below is for the first 150 records/pages of the book. The
remainder will be finished soon. Upon completion, the remaining part of the
index will be sent to the INMONROE list. Furthermore, the entire database
will be compiled into a printed copy and made available for purchase.
