Stan,
I checked the County Cemeteries of Monroe, Rose Hill Cemetery 1821-1976,
and Lew Hill Monument Inscription books and only found one CURL listed for
burials in Monroe County, IN:

Clear Creek Cemetery, located in Perry Twp., Section 29, Monroe Co., IN, on
the corner of South Rogers Street & Church Lane:
CURL, Joni Rae, born & died 6-2-1989

Would appreciate a cemetery transcription search

Curl family was in area between 1818 (sat on first grand jury) and 1823 when
he leased son John's farm in Monroe County. Apparently moved to several
counties with relatives. Was not reported in census 1830.
