Hi,
I received an automatically-generated notice that you responded to an item
posted October 20, 1999, on the MONROE CO. IN OBITUARIES referencing
Charles E. Adams.
This item was originally sent to the INMONROE list sponsored by Rootsweb on
July 13, 1999, by Lloyd Adams who was at the time a subscriber. He did not
note a source or date of his information. Another member of the list, who
volunteers her time, redirects items concerning deaths to the MONROE CO. IN
OBITUARIES. She puts Randi Richardson's name on all of the items because
Randi contributes a majority of the information to the INMONROE list and,
also, because Randi is the list facilitator.
Much of the information on the INMONROE list comes from various newspapers
and no attempt is made to verify the accuracy of various items for the
simple reason that time does not permit. As responsible genealogists, it
is, however, up to each of us to verify that information that we use.
Thank you for calling our attention to this additional information about
Charles Adams. You have noted the correction on the MONROE CO. IN
OBITUARIES site and I will advise Randi so she can bring it to the
attention of the INMONROE list.
Rosie Erskine
