Because I feel that the inquest records are important, I have decided to
abstract some information (cause of death, age at death, date of the
coroner's report) and combine it with the names as indexed in the original.
The original text is, for the most part, about half a page in length and
very legible. It is my intention to provide this to the list in parts as
it is not possible for me to generate the material as a whole.
If you would like copies of any of the records noted below, you can contact
me privately and provide: name of the record, book number, page numbers.
I am willing to do this for my cost which is $1.00/page plus a SASE. Prior
to being sent out, the record will be transcribed and placed on the
INMONROE list. Additionally, after it is transcribed it will be maintained
in a hard copy and those copies will eventually be placed on file at one of
the local libraries. As the $1.00/page cost of copying prohibits doing all
the records, at least in this manner some of the records will be made
available for the public.
