FUNERAL OF MRS. BARTLETT

The funeral of Mrs. Cecil V. Bartlett, wife of a well known local
businessman, who died at the hospital Monday morning following a short
illness, was held this morning at the St. Charles Catholic Church and was
largely attended by friends and relatives. The death of Mrs. Bartlett was
a great shock to the family, and four children, the youngest a baby
daughter of two weeks, are left to mourn the death of the young mother.
The services were in charge of
Father Derring and Mrs. Bartlett was placed to rest at Rose Hill amid a
great profusion of flowers. The pallbearers were: Glenn McDaniels, Fred
Thrasher, Walter Geiger, William Brewer, Noyse Reed and John Kerr.
