DOCUMENT: John Whisnand's Will

I, John K. Whisnand of Monroe County and State of Indiana, do make and
publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all
former wills heretofore made by me.

First--I direct that William Henry Whisnand be appointed administrator of
my estate or his legal representative if he should happen to die before the
estate is settled up.

Second--That he make sale of all my real estate and personal property,
goods and chattels and collect all my notes and accounts.

Third--That he pay all debts, funeral expenses that may occur.

Fourth--That he then divide the remainder equally between all of my heirs
namely: Rebecca Turner, William H. Whisnand, Esther E. Godsey, Sarah J.
Thornton, Mary A. Hanna, and Orpha Woodsock (surname difficult to read).

Fifth--Any amount due my estate from any legatees named in this will, the
amount they own my estate is to be deducted from the amount given each
legatee by this will.

Signed and sealed by John K. Whisnand in our presence and by us signed as
witnesses in his presense and in the presence of each other this the 18th
day of July A. D. 1878.
