Thanks to all who recommended "Deceased American Physicians" for the period
1906-1969. Dr. John W. Mahorney died between 1891-1893 so he won't be in it
but I can use it to check for other doctors in our families.

A good suggestion was the Directory of Deceased American Physicians,
1804-1929: a genealogical guide to over 149,000 medical practitioners
providing brief biographical sketches, published in 1993 by the American
Medical Association. I haven't found it yet, but hopefully Dr. Mahorney will
be in there when I do. I don't suppose any of you have that one, do you? :)

This is such a helpful list. I'm happy to be part of it.
