Ted,
You've asked a good question but, unfortunately, one that I cannot answer.
I believe Ron Baldwin is a member of this list. If so, I hope that he will
address your question. If not, I will contact him individually and see
what I can find out. He and Dave Foster are the experts on Monroe County
cemeteries and have done a lot to preserve them.
You are correct that in assuming that some old Monroe County cemeteries are
now covered with water and burials were reinterred elsewhere. The Monroe
County Historial Society hosted a meeting a couple of years ago where a
film was shown about the reinterments. It was very interesting. I don't
know who has the film.
