Monroe Co., Ind., May 8, 1860.

Died at her residence on Brummet's Creek,7 miles east of Bloomington, Ind.,
Nov. 13, 1859, sister Susan Asher, aged about 25 years, wife of Dillon
Asher. Her illness was short. For many years she had been a member of the
Christian church at that place. She was an affectionate wife, a kind
mother, and a good neighbor. She has left a husband and three children to
mourn their loss. But we believe their loss is her gain. Therefore we
sorrow not as those that have no hope.
