Dania Beach, Fla.--Kenneth "Pete" Carmichael, 86, of Dania Beach, Fla.,
died Monday at Willa Manor Convalescent Center in Dania Beach.
Born Sep. 21, 1913, in Monroe County, he was the son of Rolla and Hattie
(Deckard) Carmichael.
He was retired from Chevrolet Division of General Motors in Indianapolis
and a former employee of RCA. He was a veteran of WWII and a life member
of Bloomington Elks Lodge.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Lynn Abramson of Cooper City, Fla.;
one sister, Mildred Sparks of Indianapolis; two grandsons, one nephew and
two nieces.
He was preced in death by his wife, Rosaleen (Fiscus) Carmichael, and one
sister, Jessie E. Wampaler.
Graveside services will be 2 PM Thursday at Valhalla Memory Gardens Chapel.
Day Motuary in Bloomington is in charge of local arrangements.
