Lucy, yes, the tidbits I share are from the newspapers on microfilm at the
Monroe County Public Library. I have been working mostly with reel #5 that
includes various newspapers from the 1880s. I have also shared some from
the 1836 newspaper, the earliest on microfilm. There are MANY gaps in the
years 1836-1881.
